ILAW Shared Community Inc a civil society organization in ILIGAN CITY, NORTHERN MINDANAO bagged the Bronze Award for the “Healthy Pilipinas Awards” for Partners through its project LAVAN YARN given by the Department of Health National through its awards committee together with the DOH-CHDNM. Together with the Youth Peer Education Network (Y-PEER Pilipinas) which ILAW is a proud member of, UNICEF Philippines who funded the project and other Kabayanihan Youth Organizations. The Hon. Mayor Frederick W. Siao of the LGU Iligan City through Dr. Glenn Manarpaac Acting City Health Officer, Iligan City Health Office supported the implementation of the project and made all its effort for ILAW to be present in the awarding at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City, Philippines.
