OUR ADVOCACY
Our advocacy is all about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
Responding every SRHR issues and its underlying concerns and creating change to promote positive sexuality and sexual health choices, free from risk of diseases, unwanted pregnancy, coercion and violence, reduce social inequality and injustices and guiding to experience quality life through partnerships and sustained accessible services, contributory to the United Nation’s Sustainable and Development Goal, ensuring healthy lives.

ABOUT ILAW
WHO ARE WE?
We are a multi sectoral civil society organization in Iligan City who is a recipient of the “Serbisyo Awards 2020” and “PASIGARBO SA DIYANDI 2023” as one of the most outstanding organization in Iligan City in Humanitarian Services and Health Projects. Serving the people to respond on health and social issues related to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) among our embraced communities We believe that what we do are essential tasks to work behind the scene of ending this serious social issues and even on public health in Iligan City.

ILAW is a non-stock and non-profit Civil Society Organization duly registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of dedicated and compassionate SRHR advocates who believe that rightfully responding can break a chain and led to address such issues and concerns working to advance the cause of our advocacy.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We help our embraced communities in responding to deal with issues and concerns related to our advocacies as programs of action, to achieve holistic wellness, breakthrough, development and independence to do the same thing to others.

TO WHOM ARE WE DOING THIS FOR?
The cause of our existence are for the people who are vulnerable of such ugly implications we are fighting for and of social and health issues pertaining to our advocacy, whether at school, in the neighborhood and in the work places. The young people ages 15-30 years old as specified under the Republic Act 8044 also as “Youth in Nation Building Act” as they are significant in the community, with special considerations of the LGBTQIA+, The Women and PLHIV Community.

Vision, Mission and Goal
VISION STATEMENT:
A non-stop and responsive advocates and changemakers on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) motivating key populations to live a quality life; Free from misinformation, biases, social injustices; Have equal and humane access of SRHR programs, support and services; Embrace sexual health choices, empowerment and health development, promoting safe space, positive change and youth building.
MISSION STATEMENT:
In order to achieve our vision, we commit to;

To ensure widespread knowledge and understanding on SRHR, its health related concerns and other underlying issues and concerns.

To provide non-stigmatizing, non-discriminatory, non-homophobic and non-gender bias programs, and projects related to our advocacy promoting gender and human rights sensitivity.

To maintain effective, efficient in our programs and projects being adherent to the laws, policies and guidelines.

GOALS:
By December 15, 2030 we already have;

Increased access to Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE).

Ensured a sustained, safe and confidential SRHR Programs and Services.

Empowered communities to stand on their positive and healthy sexual and reproductive health choices and rights.

Involved in a comprehensive network of SRHR advocacy.

Reduced new cases of HIV Infection and SRH related health issues in Iligan

Reduced instances of discriminatory practices, and violence on SRHR in the workplaces, schools, community and even in service delivery institutions.

Strengthened policies and legal framework on SRHR.
